Our Princess is here!! Best Anniversry present ever!

Keyara Leigh Curtis is here weighing in at 5lbs 10oz, 17.5 inches long. She was born Dec. 7th at 5:27am. My water broke on Saturday morning about 8:00am, I got up and made the kids and Kim french toast and kept dripping the whole time. I was kinda irritated cause I thought I was just leaking urine. But after a while Kim said you are going to Sears to get Mark's Christmas just drop by the hospital on your way to make sure it isn't your water. I was like yea k whatever. Then I got on and was talking to my dear friend Anna and she started telling me GO TO THE HOSPITAL!! Listen to your hubby!! I said ok I will go. Well needless to say should of hit Sears first!LOL I went to the hospital and they said YES it is fore sure your water we have to ship you to Utah Valley Hospital. (Cause Richfield cant deliver anything under 36+weeks) I called both my Kim's and My sweet hubby was doing a Christmas party at the trap club for Peterson's Plumbing so couldn't just drop and go. Some didn't understand but When we commit to something unless dire emergency we try not to cancel. Well when I was put on Pit with Koalton it was 13 hours so I told Kim ok come as soon as you can and Kim Jones my best friend went up and supported me till he could be there! I appreciate so much for her support even with the troubles it caused!! THANKS KIM!! So after the most uncomfortable 2 hour ride in an ambulance, we made it to UVH. They started me on Pit(which I said I would NOT do again!!) Guess I lost that battle!!LOL Well I was at a fingertip when we got there and made it to a 3 at about 3:30am Sunday. I asked the nurse how long will they make me labor like this? You know 2 min apart very hard!! She said oh for alot longer than this. Here we were at 12 hours labor I said if it has been 12 hours and I am only at a 3 I am gonna take an Epi. I had the hardest time with that cause as most of you know I am about going NATURAL!! Well at about 4:30am she checked me again and was at a barely 4. So I said K I want the epi. Well the anesthesiologist made it in about 4:45am Got the Epi in and done about 5:10am the nurse stepped out for about 5 min and when she came back in I said what do I do now if I have to go to the potty she said don't worry you have a catheter in I said no the other one. She said are you sure your feel that or is it pressure I said I don't know but feel like I gotta go BAD!!! She said well lets just check you and make sure its not pressure!! LMBO!!!!! She pulled my leg up to check me and went to check and said "Oh crap hold on" beelined it out of the room and next thing I know there are people flying around everywhere. The whole time I am thinking ok I gotta go potty did she forget!?!?!?! they got all the tables set up and the nurse got the doc in and while one was getting his gown on him my nurse was explaining to Kim what he was going to have to do to help me pull my legs up so I can push. Well she put one leg in the stirrup and was saying ok now when she pushes just pull her leg back. put my other leg in the stirrup and the doc said K we are going to need a opp never mind and caught Keyara!! Guess I just needed to relax!!LOL She is so precious!!! Her sugar was low at first but passed all her follow up tests throughout yesterday. She passed every test they gave her she is AMAZING!!! She did get Jaundice and has to go to the doc today to be checked. But is doing great! She slept through the night! YEA!!!! Here are a couple picts!! Love to all who Texted!
